Sacred Space

Somebody asked me what it was that drew me to the Yoga practice. The first thing, or feeling that came to me in the form of a thought was that it felt sacred. Something about flowing through Surya Namaskars early in the morning, or listening to bhajans and sanskrit chants, always seem to make me feel at home, very cozy and warm.
So today, find something that feels sacred to you, whether a place, a yoga pose, sitting in meditation, whatever it may be, and dive into the feeling of sacredness. Create your own sacred space, and see what happens! Of course, stay mindful of your breath. Watch your thoughts and emotions.
Remember this place as something to which you can always return.
