Vrksasana: Tree Pose

Wow, it has been quite some time since I have posted a practice!

So your practice for today is to have fun with Tree Pose (Vrksasana). While going into balancing, notice how you are going into the pose, notice your thoughts around what you are doing. Notice how you react when you feel shaky. Try to just be with all of these sensations, as you put your attention on the movement of your breath. Read more…

Vrksasana

10 rounds surya namaskar (any variation)

Samasthithi (Equal standing pose) : 10 breaths, gazing at the fingertips

Vrksasana (Tree Pose): As many breaths as you can on each side. Contemplate inner stillness as you feel your breath moving.

Vrksasana (Tree Pose)

Vrksasana: 10-15 breaths on each side.

Sit quietly for 10 minutes and focus on your breath either at the abdomen or tip of the nose.
