31 Days of Mindfulness for Mental Health

Join us on our journey

Practice 31 minutes of mindfulness per day for 31 days and strengthen your own resilience while supporting youth who need it most!

PRACTICE WITH US VIRTUALLY

We'll offer daily practices with guest teachers Monday through Friday for use on-demand. The weekends are for your own exploration -- we'll provide Dynamic Mindfulness practices and suggestions for you to experiment with on your own time.

SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL PROGRAMS

We're seeking donations on a $31-$313 sliding scale; give what you can! Your generosity can help bring mindfulness to students, teachers, and parents in Title 1 school communities (those with at least 40% students from low-income families).

Why Mental Health Matters

The well-documented mental health crisis in America disproportionately affects youth and marginalized communities. We believe that regular, movement-based mindfulness practice is a sustainable, accessible way to address root causes, helping people develop resilience in the face of stress and trauma.

Our Mission

At Niroga, we're on a mission to create a mindful generation for a connected and compassionate world. This challenge will serve the dual purposes of bringing regular mindfulness practice to the community at large while also financially supporting Niroga’s provision of mindfulness education to youth in underserved schools.

Niroga's Approach

We teach mindfulness incorporating movement, breath, and centering techniques informed by neuroscience, trauma research, and somatic psychology. Learn more about our research and school programs.

Meet Our Friends and Guest Teachers

Over the course of the month, you'll have a chance to experience a variety of movement-, breath-, and centering-oriented practices from teachers of different modalities. This exploration is designed to deepen your individual practice, whatever that may look like. With so many wonderful teachers in the mix, you're sure to encounter approaches that speak to you and carry you toward a sustained mindfulness practice of your own.
